"From the moment we stepped into Crawford & Wright we felt welcomed. Everyone is so nice, helpful, and they all explain things so well, and step by step especially for my then 11 year old. If anything ever felt off, or if she accidentally broke a bracket, they were so good at getting her in right away and fixing it. She felt comfortable with both Dr. Wright, and Crawford, and their assistants. Our daughter received orthodontic care for a little over two years, and we couldn't be more pleased with her even more beautiful SMILE! "Dr. Crawford, Dr. Wright, and their whole team are the absolute BEST! Their office is fun, comfortable, inviting and has a great family atmosphere! My son and I decided to do orthodontic treatment at the same time and this office made it such an enjoyable experience. I have been debating on doing clear aligners for my teeth for about 10 years and finally did it and I couldn't be happier with my choice. They made the process easy and always explained things throughly, which was so much appreciated. My son did expansion and then had some anterior brackets put on. He was nervous at most of his appointments, but every single team member was patient with him and walked him through it so he felt comfortable. He even helped me write this review! I am so thankful for this office!

After Hours Care

"Dr. Crawford and Dr. Wright are truly lifesavers! Dental care is extremely hard to come by on weekends, but they are incredibly accommodating and have always been there for us in our time of need. I've received quick, quality care on each visit, and I've left with all of my questions answered. They're just very good people, and I would give more than 5 stars if I could!"

Pediatric

Children should be evaluated by an orthodontist by the age of 7. Some children are referred to an orthodontist at a younger age because the general dentist detects a more severe problem. Most 7 year-olds do not require braces, but sometimes early skeletal or growth-modification needs to be addressed. Cross bites also require correction at a young age.

Adult

Adults are seeking orthodontic treatment now more than ever before. The benefits include, but are not limited to: increased cleansibility of the teeth, better tooth stability in the bone, spacing preparation for dental implants, crowns or veneers, improved speech, eating and obviously straight teeth! Clear braces are esthetically pleasing for adult patients and not as noticeable as stainless steel brackets. Some adults are also candidates for Clear Aligners to progressively move teeth.

Functional Therapy

Functional therapy includes education on proper swallowing, nasal breathing, lip seal, thumb sucking cessation and reducing/eliminating tongue thrust. Orthodontic appliances can aid in the reduction of these issues and help a patient achieve a balanced oral-facial muscle. We screen for tongue ties, constricted palates, large adenoids and sleep disturbed breathing. Myfounctional therapy goes beyond straight teeth and can have an impact on overall health.
