Financial Information
Each fee is tailored to the individual’s difficulty and length of treatment. Our office will file the forms required to collect insurance should you have orthodontic benefits. Most insurance companies have a toll-free phone number you should call to familiarize yourself with your benefits. Orthodontic coverage is different from the coverage you receive for visits to your general dentist. Most orthodontic policies cover 50% up to a lifetime maximum amount which varies from plan to plan. Before you begin treatment, we will also contact your insurance company and verify the benefit amounts. Once treatment has begun, we will follow up to ensure they are paying properly over the course of treatment.
Depending on your individual credit, we offer a variety of payment options, including a discount for payment in full (when treatment costs exceed a set dollar amount) at the commencement of treatment. Many of our patients prefer to pay the fee in interest-free installments, consisting of an initial payment due at the beginning of treatment and the balance in monthly payments. We accept Mastercard, Visa, and Discover Card. For families who seek treatment for more than one family member, a discount is offered for the second full treatment case. At the consultation appointment, you will be presented with a financial document outlining your expected insurance benefits and payment plan options.
